Here we provide some supplementary information & data corresponding to the following publication:
A. Nouri, F. Autrusseau, R. Bourcier, A. Gaignard, V. L’Allinec, C. Menguy, J. Veziers, H. Desal, G. Loirand and R. Redon, "Characterization of 3D Bifurcations in Micro-scan and MRA-TOF Images of Cerebral Vasculature for Prediction of Intra-Cranial Aneurysms", accepted for publication in Computerized Medical Imaging and Graphics (CMIG), 2020.

Overview of the supplementary information:

Angles

The angles of 10 bifurcations were measured by two of the co-authors, and we compared these measurements with the models estimations.

This Excel spread sheet gives both the measurements and the models' predictions.

Cross-sections

Similarly to the angles measurements, we have asked several observers to measure the cross-sections of 10 arteries, The numerical data has been gathered in this spread sheet.

The images from which the diameters were collected can be downloaded from there.

Tortuosity

A subjective experiment was set up to collect some measures of the arteries' tortuosity.

The Subjective experiment is online here.

This archive shows each artery individually within the brain. All the segments of 3D arteries used for this experiment are available here in nrrd format.
